The Raffle is open to all persons who are in the Province of Alberta when purchasing tickets online. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older. Employees of the Service Provider, the Licensee including Ponoka Stampede Association Board Members, or their immediate family are NOT eligible to participate (defined as purchase tickets or receive prizes) in the Raffle. Ticket sellers may not purchase tickets.

You must be in Alberta at the time of your purchase and over the age of 18 in order to participate. Adult ticket purchasers are not to give their ticket to a person under the age of eighteen (18) years as a required by the Public Trustees Act

The website used geo-fencing technology to ensure you are in the province.

If you are in Alberta but being blocked, the IP from your mobile device may be providing an out of your province address, which would block you from purchasing.  You can try clearing your data on the mobile browser and try again.  If the device is still being blocked using the cellular network, we suggest connecting to Wi-Fi and trying to access the site again.

Ticket sales will begin 12:00 p.m. MST Monday June 19, 2023 and continue until 7:30 p.m. Sunday July 2, 2023.

Visit www.ps5050.com between June 19 & July 2, 2023 and follow the onscreen prompts to purchase and print the tickets for the raffle. In Person sales begin June 26, 2023 - July 2, 2023 during Ponoka Stampede events.

The winning ticket numbers (Early Bird & Grand prize) will be posted on the Ponoka Stampede Association website at www.ps5050.com . withing two hours of being drawn.

Tickets sold in person can be paid by cash, debit, credit card (Visa, MasterCard) & Visa Debit Online sales are completed by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard) & Visa Debit.

Please note that due to high sales volume it can take several hours to receive your tickets via email. Ticket purchasers are required to enter their email address correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure they receive their tickets and should check their spam and junk mail folders if they have not received their tickets by 9 AM MDT the day following purchase. Please ensure that you check your junk/spam emails to ensure it was not misfiled.

If you received a confirmation number at the end of your purchase, please know that your tickets have been entered into the draw and this delay will NOT impact your participation in the draw.

If you have not received your ticket by 9 AM MDT the day following your purchase, you can email ps5050resend@gmail.com before Noon MDT the day following the 50/50 Licensed Event to request that their tickets be resent. They must e-mail from the same e-mail they purchased tickets with. Tickets will be resent between Noon and 3 PM MDT. You will not receive a response unless it is after 10AM MDT the day following purchase.

If you do not receive your tickets, the email confirmation may be blocked by your email provider and their spam filters. Previous ticket holders have experienced this with Telus-based accounts.

Please note that even if you have not received your tickets at the time of the draw, you are still entered into the draw and can be contacted by PSA should you have the winning ticket. Tickets are placed into the draw immediately after purchasing.

The charge you are seeing is a pre-authorization charge only. This charge should go away within 5 business days. Visa debit cards treat the pre-authorization like a charge and will refund the funds back to your account within five business days. If the charge does not go away within five business days, please email us at stampede@ponokastampede.com

Please note if you received ERROR 4, this is because your card was declined, either due to customer error entering your card information or your bank blocked the transaction.

No Refunds. All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the number of tickets they desire to purchase.

The holder of the winning ticket will have thirty (30) days to present the winning ticket to the PSA. The holder of the winning ticket may claim their prize in person (located underneath the main grandstand) or by contacting the 50/50 office at stampede@ponokastampede.com and forwarding their purchase e-mail and a copy of their government issued photo identification and address. Please put “Prize Winner” in the subject line.

Each prize claimant must provide the Ponoka Stampede Association with all information required by provincial gaming regulations to claim a prize. The prize claimant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release ("Release") which must be executed and returned to the Ponoka Stampede Association no later than three (3) business days after his/her receipt of the Release. With their permission, the winner’s name will be publicized on www.ponokastampede.com and on various social media channels belonging to the license holder. The winner will receive a cheque within thirty (30) days of the winner delivering the winning Raffle Ticket, executed Release, and all other required documents to the Ponoka Stampede Association.

If no winner comes forward after the thirty (30) day period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity, with the approval of the AGLC.

The prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions , except at the 50/50 Licensee’s sole discretion. The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name appears as purchasing the ticket.

The Early Bird prize is $2500.00 Cash to be drawn June 25, 2023. The grand prize will be 50% of the gross revenue from all tickets sold. Funds from the 50/50 program are split between the winner and PSA. The PSA will use the other 50% of the program proceeds to fund future programs and operations that support the growth, success and development of the communities it serves and the promotion of the sport of Rodeo & Chuckwagon Racing.

Yes, the winner’s name will be publicized on the list of prize winners at www.ps5050.com, as well as on event social media channels.

The odds of winning the prize are based on the number of tickets sold.

All transactions and winnings are paid in Canadian dollars. Prizes will be paid by cheque, payable to the winner.
